 Opposite and Color Poems Blue is… the color of sadness. Blue is… a song of sorrow. Blue is… The sky is the limit. Blue is… a summer time favorite. Blue is… a hope of cleanliness. Blue is… a marker of a child. Blue is… a tasty jelly bean. Blue is… a bruise. Blue is… a Barca soccer ball. Blue is… the disgusting aroma of blue cheese. The Opposite of School What is the opposite of going to school? Is it sitting at home, being a fool? Or going to your friend’s house? Instead of chillin with your pet mouse. Maybe going to the beach? And not studying the anatomy of a leech. I’ll consider travelling in May. Saying, “No math today.” The Opposite of Being an Adult What is the opposite of being an adult? Is it being a child, playing on your catapult? Or playing a game called Assassinate. Maybe pretending you’re British, saying help mate. Waiting till you’re old enough to use shaving foam. Being impatient and not using a comb. Playing with all your toys. Just being yourself, making too much noise. Green Green is… go green Green is… a pea. Green is… the taste of yucky asparagus. Green is… Mother Nature and beyond. Green is… the Falling Gardens. Green is… green tea. Green is… tasty broccoli. Green is… the 5C sofa. Green is… the color of Africa on a map.
