Amazing places in New York

Amazing places in New York

By: Jackie /span>

There are many interesting places in New York. There is Broadway, and where the Twin Towers were. If it is the first time you are visiting New York then you have A LOT of places to go and see.

Broadway is one of my most FAVORITE places to visit. Broadway is a place to see all kinds of types of princess stories, Christmas stories, Mary Poppins shows, Superhero stories (like Batman, Spiderman, Superman)  and MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE=http://! I have been going to see broadway shows ever since I was 3 or 4 years old. My first show was Beauty and the Beast, and all of the Broadway shows I have seen were phenomenal and, who ever acted or sang in the show I would always idolize them because they are some of the best actors EVER! Each and every time I watch a Broadway show I am just mesmerized because the show is always SO interesting! Anyway I think I have seen at least 10 Broadway shows! When you are in New York the first place you want to visit is Broadway!!:)

The Twin Towers have a tragic back story and New York will always remember the day of 9/11. One day long before I was born there were two towers exactly alike sitting next to each other on the same ground. It was a normal day, that’s what it  seemed like, millions of people were in the two towers (the towers were offices) and they were just walking around minding their own business then, CRASH! Two airplanes just fly right into the two buildings! There was a fire close to the middle of the towers, there were people running out and screaming there were ever people trying to get out but couldn’t, then all of a sudden a huge explosion is coming right out of the buildings, people are gaping at the humanity. After the whole thing police and investigators were searching for the terrorist, but they couldn’t find him because it turns out that he (the terrorist) was is one of the planes when the crash happened. That day was a HORRIFYING DAY for everyone and as I said before New York will never forget the day of 9/11. You must go and see where the Twin Towers were, maybe you’ll even see what’s left. Actually an interesting fact is that there was one living thing that survived the crash and that is a tree. Now whenever people visit where the Twin Towers were they would find the tree and put money on it, I should know I was right where the Twin Towers were.

There are many more places to see in New York and I’m SURE you’ll enjoy them.

Hey Jackie :) I like how this post had a favorite thing of yours... Broadway! It sounds so fun from your view! I also like your factual 9-11 Story! I never knew about the tree, before! Very nice! Every time I read paragraphs, I want to visit New York even more!

New York sounds fun! I have never been there and now I want to go to broadway to! I was alive on 9/11 but I don't remember seeing it on tv.

I really enjoyed reading your blog entry - particularyly the part about 9-11. It is interesting to hear the story from the perspective of someone who did not watch the event unfold. (I am a teacher, so I am much older than you and remember vividly as I watched television for about 4-weeks non-stop after the first plane struck. Thank you for including the story about the tree...I have never heard that.

Very cool story! I loved to go to Broadway and see the many fascinating places. The Twin Tower are very cool, but if you go on top of them, be very careful! Very good story Jackie.

Wow...it's so sad how so many people died on that day 9/11. And I can't believe only a tree is left! And is a Broadway show something like a play? I have never been to one but they sound really cool! All these things are amazing! I have been wanting to visit New York for like forever so someday hopefully I'll go!
