We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Elastic Force & Gravity
You could load a slingshot kind of thing on the floor, and use a rubber band to launch the cart. The difference of Mass and Weight is that Weight is caused by Gravity pulling you down causing weight. Mass is the space you are, like how water fills a cup, you take up space in the world.
