Yesterday Kindy was introduced to the concepts longer and shorter. Most of our Kiddoes had a pretty good understanding of this concept already. Therefore, we decided to have a little fun. Each child was given the same length of paper and told to make a snake. They needed to decide how long they wanted their snake to be and then cut the paper to make a head and decorate. Once this step was finished, the fun really began. The Kiddoes wandered around the room comparing the snakes to figure out which ones were "longer' or "shorter". 

Each Kiddoe took home his/her snake last night. Have some fun at home and see if you can find things in your house which are longer/shorter than the snake!!!
