Our SLST Conference held in Hamilton earlier this month was just great! Here are some of the books and activities I bought. Also a moveable abacus I made, and poems two students wrote after reading a poem "Remembering Summer" from a Literacy Workshop with Anne Grady.
The key note speakers were inspirational. Nigel Latta, Allison Mooney and Latu To'omanga.
Meeting up with fellow SLS teachers was special too. Thank you to the Waikato/Bay of Plenty team who made this all possible!
They say "use it or lose it" so I decided to get straight on to it, while I remembered! Thanks for visiting our Blog.

You're onto it, using "Remebering summer" so quickly.

Thanks for you comment about my blog. It is exciting to share links. There is just so much out there that we can't hope to find it all by ourselves. I will enjoy sharing your blog with my class after the holidays. Vicki Bright
