Rooted We are like trees
We must bear fruit of Christ
And resist the hatchet of sin
It will temp us in the ways
But you must spread the root
And become rooted in holy ground
You must not fall a stray
And become the home of termites
You must stay strong in the rock
And not falter in the ways
Of the lord
