Most athletes are not overpaid Most athletes are not over paid, but some do not have any exceptions for being greedy. When the players are payed over 7 million dollars, they are being very greedy. But the majority are payed what they deserve, with the risk of injury, with all the money they earn from sponsers and the fans who pay to watch them play, I think a range 500 grand to 6 million dollars a year is about right.
