Autumn Wind - Danielle Wind against my skin, is blissfully pleasant,
With the sun shining in my face, so very florescent

I like it when the wind rushes through the locks of my hair,
But when it picks me off my feet, it makes it much harder to bear

The wind goes on and on, with a gentle flow,
It’s a perfectly fair breeze, neither too fast nor too slow

Through the evening sky, the wind howls and whistles,
Waiting patiently in school, for our late dismissals

In the crisp air, you notice that there are no longer leaves on the trees,
The children dance around with laughter, as they jump in the air with ease

When you feel the wind you feel, freedom, joy, and love,
You can hear the crows flapping their wings, as they glide in the air above

Wind gives you much emotion such as peacefulness, for instance,
You can see the wind emerging, yet ever so far in the distance

The blue sky is now turning to grey; the day is starting to end,
The sun is replaced by the moon, as the turbulent wind starts to descend

Now you’re in bed, and you watch the stars twinkle,
More leaves fall from the trees, they are dreadfully wrinkled

The air still carry’s summer aromas, since fall is just starting to begin,
It’s safe to say in honest regards, that the warm weathers out and the cold weathers in.

Tossing and turning under the covers, the wind still howls and blows,
It’s carrying such a heavenly scent that smells like the petals of a rose

Closing your eyes, and drifting in a dream, you begin to fall asleep,
Through the restless hours of the night, deliberately counting sheep

Waking up in the early dawn, hearing the songs that birds sing,
With the simple wonder and awe of the joy today may bring.
