Hunger Games Summary
Hunger Games Summary
Book By: Suzanne Collins
Paragraph By: Katherine
There are many different themes in my book but one that really stood out to me was over coming obstacles. In the games, you have to kill other people in order to win, therefore supporting your district. You really aren’t supposed to be nice to other people; even in alliances you really aren’t that kind. But Katniss forms an alliance with Rue, and when she dies instead of walking away like everybody else does, she sings Rue her favorite song, and holds her hand while she dies. When Rue is dead Katniss closes her eyes, and covers Rue with flowers. Therefore overcoming the obstacle of the games being completely bitter and cruel.

I think your point is really strong, but I would focus more on the main characters and the main plot, but it was a really good paragraph.
