When we watched The Ernest Green Story I was amazed by how rude people were just because the color of someone’s skin. I also thought that it was amazing how much we have changed, in the United States, because that wasn’t that long ago. I mean my grandfather remembers when that was happening. If I was in that situation and I had a chance to go to that school I would have gone, hoping to get a better education. But I also wouldn’t have not lasted that long, because I would be too afraid from seeing what was going on around me to all the other students. I think things have definitely changed but you will always have those people who don’t know any better. There are also people who think people with a darker colored skin won’t be as good as a person with lighter skin. Also it might depend on what country you are in because that kind of stuff is still going on in other parts of the world. In the end I think that the United States has changed quite a bit from what it was not too long ago.
