poetic effects
In their writing poets use many tools. My favorites are rhyme and figurative language. I like rhyme because it's fun to hear and say. For example one of my favorite poets is Shel Silverstein. His poems are funny and they also have rhyming words. Another one of my favorites is alliteration. I like alliteration because it sounds cool and can also get people's attention. Tongue twisters are a form of alliteration and are very interesting. Personally I like to hear people say tongue twisters because it's funny because of how many times they make mistakes. I also like onomatopoeia because it describes sounds well. It creates a better picture of what's going on in the poem because I can hear what's going on.

About the Blogger
Gian-Luc Jordan, we all miss you so much. Always in the hall, I always heard “hey look, its Gian-Luc.” Everyone in the hall turns and looks & what do you see? Gian-Luc with a big smile on his face. His smile always shined like the sun. I always saw him with his friends laughing, smiling, laughing, anything you could think of. His family dearly loved him. He had a big sister and little siblings. I thought Luca was pretty cool and super nice. He was one of my friends, even though I didn’t get to talk to him much. He had SO much energy around his friends. I always think of him and pray for his family. You were loved so much. I miss you so much Luca.
