how fast can a tank move

Have you ever how fast a tank can move or what catipiler tracks are? Tanks can move at differant speeds. It depends on what the tank terrain is and what kind of tank it is.Some tanks can go about 25mph on dirt but about 40 on the road. some have gone 60 to 70mph!But tanks are not really built for speed. The tanks tires are made of medel chains.they make continous tracks or catipiller tracks. Rubber tires would not work on a tank because they do not have enough traction and they could pop.

catipiller=continous. the tank is making catipiller tracks

terrain=type of ground. I am walking on a dirt terrain

traction=grip between ground and wheel. This tank has good traction
