Intimacy and the Internet! Wow, what a loaded question? What would I do if the internet dissappeared? I guess I have an advantage over everyone else as I do remember those days. It seems as though it was just yesterday, but we have allowed it to control every aspect of our lives. I honestly would not know what "I" would do.
I really believe that our lives have become way to dependent on the online experience, and that if we don't change quickly it will be too late. I don't know if we can do that. Pretty scary stuff to even ponder. Well for better or worse, I guess we will have to wait and see!!!

Chris I agree with you it is a scary thought. But on the other hand maybe it would be a good thing. For example parents might start watching their kids more instead of playing games online, or chating on facebook. I understand that not every parent does this but their are alot that do I've seen it myself. I know that a lot of people depend on it and I think that's a bit more scary then it disappearing.

I personnaly dont really use the internet very much. I agree with you, people would be lost with out it I think it would be interesting to see if the social world would stop rotating if people could not communicate from there desktop or cell phone. The simple times are gone wy friend wow how i miss it! A little :)
