 Getting my own dog I'm writing this today to tell you about something that I've been wanting for so long. The thing that I want is to get my own dog. If we get one from a shelter, we are saving a life. We are also saving an animal that has been in a cage for so long. Dogs are great for guarding our home. When they bark, they're warning us that someone is around. They will protect us from danger. I will clean up the dog pen 3-4 times a week. I will take him on walks 3 a day, and when I walk the dog I'm staying healthy and getting exercise. I will clean him every 2-3 weeks. I will try my best to train him. I promise I will do these things. I hope after reading this fantastic letter, you will agree with me that I should have my own dog.
