Poems
Haikus
Wild Horses
Wild, free, untamed
Their hooves dance upon the ground
Manes stream behind them
Boats
Are transportation
With engine or sail, they ride
The waves carry them
Ocean
Water sprays my face
Waves crash upon the shoreline
A salt smell lingers
Fairies
Pink gossamer wings
Flower caps upon their heads
They flit and fly ‘round
Limericks
There once was a scaly green creature
He lived under the bleachers
His daily routine
Was having caffeine
What you don’t know; he’s my teacher
The blue little ball could fly
Up in the sky so high
He didn’t enjoy
Being a toy
So he decided to become a spy
