 Persuasive Essay I have wanted a lizard for a very long time. I know that lizards require a lot of care and supplies. Since I am turning 10 this year, I think I am responsible enough to take care of a pet. I hope I can get a lizard! If I get a lizard, I will take really good care of it. I will feed it when it needs food, clean it’s terrarium, make sure it is healthy, and learn as much as I can about it so I can take good care of it. I will do my chores so I can prove I am responsible enough to have a pet. Sometimes I feel lonely when I get home, because Milo, our bird, wants to bite me, the tortoises are in hibernation, and there is nothing to do. I can watch and take care of my lizard during those kinds of times. Maybe our lizard could be our family pet! Lizards are really fun to watch! They can camouflage, and some can move fast. If you are supervising me, I can even handle it! Having a lizard would be so much fun! I hope I can get a lizard, but I know you have to consider it first. I am prepared that I might not get a lizard. Thank you for taking the time to read this essay. I hope you enjoyed it! It really gave me a lot to think about. Although I am not able to commit to having another pet at this time, I am going to take it under consideration.
