Divorce
In Witch of Blackbird pond, Kit had to face a new situation in her life. It is just like the time when my parents divorced. It was super hard to get over it, and now I don’t think of it so often. I mean, I still think about it a lot but it is not as much now.
It all started about three years ago and my parents had a really big fight. After that, of course they went to the judge and they were officially divorced.
Later, we came up with this routine that my dad would have me one week, and then my mom would have me for one week. It turned out to work pretty well but if we kept doing that, my mom would have me for most of the holidays. Each holiday we would spend the morning with my dad, and afternoon with mom. That is how we spent our time.
Doing homework while having the divorce was by far the worst thing to do. Sometimes I would forget my homework at my mom’s house and I couldn’t get it back. Other times, I would have a sport and one parent would take me to it and the other would bring me back. That was bad because I would have my homework at the first house and would end up in the other.
Well, That was my blog and please comment.

I have left my homework at home, too. What kind of sports do you do? I like to do football, do you? Luckily, my parents are not divorced.

Great blog Ethan. That must have been super hard going through the divorce and forgetting your homework at one house and then not turning your homework in on time. I could never forget anything or be late to anything because I start freaking out and have a temper tantrum right then and there. Do you think that going through the divorce made you more responsible or did it make you grow up faster? How did you have everything at one house and have it at the other house as well? Well, great connection and a well detailed blog too.

That must have been very hard for you and your parents to get divorced. Also you must have been put on the spot a lot more when you forget your homework tht was due at another parents house. Good thing you settled in with the routine or else it would have been very didifficult for you. Good blog, I can't wait to read the next one.

Hey Ethan, this is Sage. I'll have you know that I'm extremely sympathetic for you. It must be a REALLY hard life with two of everything! (I'm not being sarcastic) Going back and forth and back and forth must be a confusing cycle with homework, timing, etc. But overall, it was absolutely marvelous and I think you are very strong for letting this out for the world to see. Again, great job.

When my parents got divorced it was hard for me too. But like you I got over it a month or so later. But you're right, it does suck when you froget something at one of your parents houses and you have to pay tickets because you can't go back and get it. Anyways, back to you I think you anonymously put your opinion into your blog and used great detail.

First of all, it is still pretty obvious that you think about it sometimes. If you never think about it, why would you be writing a blog about it? Anyway, I can not imagine what it would be like having to stress that much over homework because of the house rotation thingy. I thought that doing my homework was hard to deal with.
