We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. chimucum creek chiucum (spelled Chimacum) creek is doing well for all the tests like PH OMMONIA (spelled Ammonia) NITRATES TEMITURER (spelled Temperature) DO TERBITITY (spelled Turbidity) FLOW RATE THE AVREGE SCORE FOR PH IS 6.3. OMMONIAS SCORE WAS 2.8 don't forget mg/L. NITRATESS SCORE IS 78 PERCENT OF AIR (not exactly because 78% of the air is nitrogen, nitrates is completely different and there was only .3 mg/L in our creek). TEMPITURES SCORE IS 33.5 don't forget degrees F. DO'S SCORE IS 8.3 don't forget mg/L. TERBITITYS SCORE IS IN THE 30'S don't forget NTU's. FLOW RATES SCORE IS 1.3459 M3/S

From Mr. G - What is your recommendation for people to do to take care of our watershed, creek, and fish? And will you be adding pictures and your graphs?
