i think that the creek is doing fine.its not perfect but its not horrible either.
I learned what each of the jobs are and what the data means.like how it is important what temp. the creek is to know which salmon and other fish can survive.
I learned what ph stands for( positive hydrogen ) and that it measures the acidity in the creek.the average for p.h. is 6.31410mg/l . If you were wondering that means the creek is acidic ( A 7 is pure water (H2o) which means it has the perfect balance of acidity and base.)
Ammonias average this year is 2.828 which is extrem and probable mess up . Last years was 0.08 which is still bad but not terrible.The average for all years doing ammonia is 1.254mg/l. ammonia is smelly colorless gas. but what is sad is that if levels reach 0.1mg/l then the creek is polluted! dis is sad! *sniff* =( .
it stands for dissolved oxygen. one thing i learned about D.O. is oxygen goes into the water by touching it (cool right!).this years average D.O. was 9.16 mpl (milligrams per liter) that is okay.
turbidity pretty much means how clear the water is. the averege is 35.2714285714 that is almost perfect so the fish are ok with it .tubidity is the difference between clear and dirty water.
0.3 this is pretty good(yay) nitrates help soil. and when to much gets into the creek it can really speed up eurofication. witch is sad because it makes all the fishys die.
1.3459 cubic meters per second. i dont know if that is good or not .flow rate is how fast the stream is going at one place in the creek.

thats is good! different salmon have different temps to be the best health. without the right temp fish will die. oxygen can dissolve in colder water better. if it got to 60 degrees, it would die.in summer they go tho oceans for cooler water.
