Silent Creeper
in the deep dark hallway
behind the wall of lockers
beyond the row of classrooms
under the creaky floorboards
inside the ventilation system
above the janitor's closet
despite the silence
through the vent
into the empty gymnasium
over the teacher's office
out the back door
across the large parking lot
down the street
up and over the fence
across the tiled walkway
through the sliding glass door
into the cozy bedroom
without making a sound
