Wednesday Feb 22nd Problems
An 18-wheeler is crossing a 4 kilometer bridge that can only support 10,000 kilograms and that's exactly how much the rig weighs. Halfway across the bridge a 30 gram sparrow lands on the cab, but the bridge doesn't collapse. Why not?
Here is a series of numbers. What is the next number in the sequence?
1
11
21
1211
111221
312211
13112221

The truck burns fuel so it weighs less and the driver may have have parked it and left before the sparrow landed.

The sparrow pooped at the same time as the driver puked.

It starts with one one and then the next number has two ones. That continues throughout the numbers.

Q1: If the bridge supports 10,000 kilograms and the the rig weighs 10,000 kilograms then it doesn\'t matter if a 30 gram bird lands on the rig because it weighs grams not kilograms. Q2: The next number in the sequence is 1111222121312

If the truck was driving for too long the truck would eventually loose gas and gas puts more weight on the truck and bridge so it would way less if it ran out of gas.

It did not collapse because the weight was not over the limit. If it was over the limit it would not have collapsed.

Q1:The rig may weigh less than 1000 pounds and so it will not matter. Or else it just dosen\'t that the sparrowonly wighs 30 grams which means that it dosen\'t add anothe kilagram.
