What if we Were Alone? Recently, I had to pick out a poem for the poem presentation. My poem was "What if we were Alone" by Will Stafford. To me, the poem was meaningful about; What if we were alone and what if there weren’t any stars? The tools my poet used are repetition and personification to make the “What if?” questions stand out and to tell us that we’re truly not alone. It helps the poet express himself giving us a moral.
