The Forest Fire From blaring alarm
Into the fierce forest fire
From many rugged miles
Into the fiery flames

Around the black-faced firefighters
Inside the fire blanket
Outside the boiling air
With fiery flames and rubble

Without a chaotic sound
On top of the rubble
Without a joyful laugh
On the firefighters shock face
With grave looking expressions

From the tired firefighters
To the blackened earth
Without a crawling creature
In the destroyed sight

I like this poem because after I read it I felt like I was in the middle of the forest fire action. Great Job!!!!! Brandon J
