I'm reading The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. I think the plot is developing the exact way I thought it would because I thought that the fellowship would be broken, but a lot slower than it was and I thought that war would break out a couple of times and that's already happened. The character I would get along with the best is Gimli the dwarf because he doesn't like to be messed with or considered less than somebody unless he truly is, like me. I can predict that the characters will face conflicts like coming across orcs and powers that they can't defeat. I can make connections to the book because like Merry and Pippin I have met people that I thought were weird who turned out to be just like normal people.

I am reading ATHERTON: RIVERS OF FIRE. In this book, a world is in collapse. It was once a mountain, but ow it is flat, and becoming concaved. Also, the water has disappeared. Three children, Edgar, Isabel, and Samuel, are trying to find the water scource. But, they have yet another challenge. There are monstrous creatures, too. I think that this book will be about surviving, and finding a secret.
