We're a fifth grade class from McNamara Elementary School in Baldwinsville, New York. Baldwinsville is located just outside of Syracuse. Have fun bloggin'!
I am reading a book called “Caring for Your Chinchilla” by Heather Hudak. It is a book, as you can plainly see, about how to care for a chinchilla. It includes lots of interesting facts about chinchillas, such as, they need a rock or pumice stone to wear down their teeth because the teeth never stop growing.
I think that book was quite surprising because of some of the facts in there like that chinchillas live, on average, about twenty years. Also I think that chinchilla babies are ADORABLE because they’re SO fuzzy and their heads are bigger than their bodies. My favorite type of chinchilla (out of the six types) is the black velvet chinchilla because it, apparently, is the furriest chinchilla (more hairs per square inch) and, in my opinion, is the cutest chinchilla.
