Poetic Effects!! Some "tools" that poets use are things that have happened to them. For example, if a poet once went camping and they enjoyed it very much, they might be influenced by their experience. Another "tool" a poet might use are their emotions. For example, if a poet has had a bad experience they might write about their feelings and talk about either being sad or angry. An example is Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss, because it shows lots of excitement and joy. We have been talking about rhyming schemes in stories and how the can show the feelings a poet could have or the story could have.
