Some tools that poets use are experiences. They use emotional and personal experiences from their lives. For example, if the poet's son or daughter has a bad dream, he will probably write about that. There are also personal experiences. If the poet gets in a car accident, he will probably write about the car accident. Some of the best poems are written from experiences. They also use sensory details.Those are the tools that writters and poets use.
