We are a group of 7th graders from Colorado who want to practice our writing and communication skills. We are excited to expand the walls of our classroom and collaborate with other classes! Please leave us comments and your blog URL, so we can respond back to you!

Poetic Effect

I think that most poets use rhyme to make their poems more catchy and interesting.  Rhyme also helps people who read the poem remember it.  Imagery helps people paint a picture in their mind, and if it's a good picture, then they will remember it. I think that by saying, "a poem "begins in delight and ends in wisdom." Robert Frost means that we can really learn things from poems. We can learn things from poems yet they were also meant to please.
