New York State I think that it is interesting that the state fruit is an apple. Every year we go upstate to pick apples. There are so many different types and it is fun to taste them right from the tree. My favorite apple is the empire- just like new York's nickname- The Empire State. If I could change one borough's name it would be to change Manhattan to Subway Town.

A word that describes our fourth grade year would be "rollercoaster". This word represents our year because there are "ups" and there are "downs". We never know what is going to come next. It is a life experience.
