Poetry Tools
Poetry can change our emotions and the way we see the world. The poet uses tools to do this. Some of the tools poets use to do this are suspense. Suspense can create the poetry piece more interesting to read. For example, a mystery poem will keep the reader wondering and wondering. The poem, The Highway Man, keeps you wondering even once the poem is done. Another tool is the type of poetry. For example, limericks make you happy while scary poems make you scared and have bumps on your arms. All in all, the poet can truly get his/her point out and really touch the reader.
