My favorite things about N.Y. My favorite things about N.Y. are ... The state nickname:The Empire State,because it sounds really cool and is named after one of my favorite buildings. The state fruit:The Apple,because it happens to be my favorite fruit. The state insect: The Ladybug,because if you touch one you have good luck. The state flower:The Rose,because its really beautiful & symbolizes peace. Those are my favorite things about N.Y.
