Conditions of Use


Poets can use a variety of “tools” to create an effect in their writing. One of these tools is figurative language. There are my types of figurative language. An Example of figurative language is rhyming or simile.An example of rhyming is a poem is ,” There once was a big brown cat / That liked to eat a lot of mice./ He got all round and fat / Because they tasted so nice.” By anonymous Poets can use these things to create an effect in their writing that displays what they are trying to get across to the reader.
