Here is our first green-screen video, Mary Norton's The Borrowers. We read the book, making a flow chart as we went along. Next we wrote the script. We divided up the tasks. The set designers did the art work for the background, the cast acted out the parts, the narrators read the script and the director added the music. Our teacher shot the video in front of a green screen. The "human beans" and the "Borrowers" had to be shot separately so that we could shrink the students who played Arrietty, Pod, Homily and Uncle Hendreary without shrinking the "human beans". We hope you enjoy the results.
Mr. Greenberg there is a movie of the Borrowers did you watch it?

Bob, you are a great teacher and these kids are the smartest actors who i have ever see!!!. You guys inspired me not only to make a glog about you but also to do my today project activity on my Glogster classroom with my 4th graders. It was a storytelling activity on your story of 'The borrowers' video...hehe:) I made a template glog for my students( http://sunrise651.edu.glogster.com/the-borrowers-order-to-make-the-story-project-work/ ) on which they had to come in and to order the moments of your story, telling it again in their project glogs. ( http://edu.glogster.com/presentation/glog-flow/7403410 ). So they understood and enjoyed all your great work and studied English language with you, having really a fun! Isn't that great? So, staying late at nights made great things, isn't it?;)
hugs from Bulgaria:) Rose

Fabulous video! It's fascinating to see the big people and the little people together on the screen.
