My Pick

“You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give. Kahlil Gibran. I think it means that if you give yourself you are giving happiness to someone in need but you also are giving help when you give yourself. When you give a gift you give a little but someone would rather have a friend than a present.  I could apply it in my own life by helping out at charity events or helping people in need. Helping could make a positive change in someone’s attitude because helping out you could feed them or help give shelter and they would be happier. This could impact the world by people could be happier or there could be more things done for the needy. People could also become happier.

Gian-Luc Jordan, we all miss you so much. Always in the hall, I always heard “hey look, its Gian-Luc.” Everyone in the hall turns and looks & what do you see? Gian-Luc with a big smile on his face. His smile always shined like the sun. I always saw him with his friends laughing, smiling, laughing, anything you could think of. His family dearly loved him. He had a big sister and little siblings. I thought Luca was pretty cool and super nice. He was one of my friends, even though I didn’t get to talk to him much. He had SO much energy around his friends. I always think of him and pray for his family. You were loved so much. I miss you so much Luca.
