Wow!! What an exciting start to our year. Students have learned about patterns in math and created some beautiful painting patterns. We have also learned some very cool alphabet songs. We have been reading and writing in our journal. This week we started to retell stories and draw pictures to the events. We hope you enjoy ou Blog! Measuring and Comparing
The Grade One students have been working on measurement. Students have been comparing different object's length and finding items that are "longer, shorter, taller" , comparing area with "covers more" and "covers less" and looking at different containers to see which holds more or less. This video shows the students experimenting to find containers that hold more and less.
