 Scotland Scotland Christmas is observed quietly with family and religious services.Christmas and New Years are totaly different.On Years day (Hogmany) they hope good wishings to there friends for the New Year. They have a First Foot that perdicts the luck for the family during the New Year. Men with dark hair they have good luck and must bring a gift to the host and the host offers the first person a small drink or treat that must be eaten in one swallow.
