Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Conditions of Use

Spawning adult

Once the salmon start going up stream towards the spawning grounds they do not feed but derive energy from stored fat. While they are on their way they also have to watch out for bears,wild cats and eagles.
