We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Conditions of Use

Mini pond :D The paramecia and amoeba are both single celled. The elodea has multiple cells. Witch means the elodea is independant and doesn't need the paramecia or amoeba to live on its own. The paramicia and amoeba need other cells to survive. :D comment! Please! Thanks!

Plant cells and animal cells have a lot of things in common like: Cytoplasm, Cytoskeleton, Endoplasmic Reticulum, Golgi Apparatus, Mitochondria, Nucleus, Peroxisomes, Plasma Membranes, Ribosomes. But they also have differences like: plant cells have Cell Walls, Chloroplasts and Vacuole and animals cells don't. Also, animal cells have Centrioles, Flagellum and Lysosomes and plant cells don't.
