The Power of Happiness
With the story finished, it's obvious that happiness is the greatest weapon against the carnival. Why is that? At what point was it most powerful?

Emily, I feel that your point is correct because when the boys leave the carnival they are happy. If they never used the wepon of happiness, they would have never been able to defeat the evilness.

I feel that it is when Mr. Halloway is in the library and hurts the witch by laughing and actually killing her during the bullet trick.

Emily the greatest weapon against the carnival is being happy, because in chapter 47 page 249 Mr.Halloway is telling the dust witch that the bullet she has in her hand has a smile on the bullet.
