I think Mr. Dark is evil because he would take people's souls. Also in the book he was the ring leader of the carnival and the carnival was an evil place.

I do belive that Mr. Dark is evil. An example is that he tattoed all the freaks on himself and once they rode the carousel they would become one of his minions until he died.

He is evil he would abduct people and make them carnival freaks and he even wailed bloody murder when Charles hugged him.

In the book I think Mr. Dark is really evil. Throughout the book Mr. Dark threatens the boys and tricks them into trouble. Also Mr. Dark was a "freak" from the majic carnival and all of the "freaks" were evil.
