My favorite character in the book is Captain Harkins because yes he is a Red Coat but he is a very good man and is nice to the Americans. I liked when Captain Harkins stoped a Red coat from slaping Joey. I didn't like Captain Harkins was killed to save Joey. You might want to read this book if you like adventure, action and it can make you sad and make you happy.
