The True Meaning of Christmas
Christmas. Imagine if there was no Christmas. Imagine if Christmas was cancelled. What would you miss the most? Would it be the gifts? Would you miss Santa Claus? Would you miss spending time with your family?
Christmas isn’t just about getting presents and gifts. It’s about spending time with family. Your family all gathers around. If there’s some family that lives out of state they come up for the holidays. If there was no Christmas then you may not have your family up.
Christmas is a family holiday. Not much family’s have family dinners or get together. Holidays are sometimes the only time you get to see or be with your family. If Christmas was canceled families most wouldn’t have any time with the family. You can eat Christmas dinner with your family.
Spend time with them because you might not see them till the next holiday. Those are the reasons why Christmas is one of the most important holidays.
I agree with you Ashley; every Christmas some of my distant relatives come, and this helps make it one of the best times of the year (although I won't deny that the presents and time off of school help make it awesome).
