We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Microrganism mania While my group was looking through our microscope we saw a lot of paramisiam they moved a lot and they also ate. What we did not notice that the blobs all over the place were the things we were looking for, amoeba they did not move at all but our seience teacher taped one and when it was fast forwarded it moved all over the screen

They are just amazing things to look at under the microscope. Watching the paramecia it the food with the red dye was really cool because you could see the dye inside of the paramecia.
