Tessellations When you look at a piece of art, I bet you probably don't look to see if there is a tessellating pattern. A tessellation is a repeating pattern, like symmetry. There is often symmetry in a tessellating pattern. These four sites that I was on really showed me what tessellations are. If your two favorite subjects are math and art, I suggest that you try to make a tessellating pattern.

Hi, i'm in Mrs. Smith's 5th grade math group. I look forward to blogging because I did it last year in 4th grade and enjoyed it a lot! I enjoy math, reading, sports, science, and social studies. I look forward to hearing back from you and I will try to write back as much as I can! These are some things about me.
