Prissy

In the beginning of the story Prissy is feeling sad for the family, but the closer the time comes to meting them she doesnt want to because she doesnt know if she will be able to handle it. She already has a daughter Laura, who is an only child. Prissy doesnt fell like she has the patience for 6 children, 7 including Laura. When she and George go to pick up the children and the mother, she is in a bad mood. Therefore, at the end of the story, she is like the foundation for Linn, Linn could always look for her and depend on her. She turns out to be ok and is happy for the family and Linn.
