 A Tender Moment? Ooh, Ooh, Pick Me! In chapter 16 after Jim went to the mirror maze, why do you think he became so needy of Will?

He even says "You're always going to be around, aren't you, Will? To protect me?" (page 69).

Emily BJim acts like he needs Will because Will would keep him out of trouble. Will said, “Jim, you nut, I’m taking you home” (Bradbury 69).
