The Cousins Visit

      In the morning, I wore my pajamas. Mom said, “We aren’t going anywhere.” Then the phone rang, and it was one of my cousins. She said her two brothers, and her aunt were coming over and mom agreed. Then after a very long time, the doorbell rang, and mom answered it.

          Mom opened the door. “They’re in their pajamas already!” said my aunt to my mom approvingly. “No, they were in their pajamas all day,” laughed my mom, happily. My aunt laughed too! “Wow.” My mom said, “What’s so ‘wow’ about it?” And my mom and aunt laughed again. We said, “Hi” to our cousins, and we all went to the kitchen, so my mom could make dinner.
