Suprise! Suprise! Suprise!
I think a great closed setting for a mystery story would be leaving peole at a cliff hanger. I would use a cliff hanger because it wants people to read the next story, especcialy a mystery story. Also, it would be very fun to be the Author of that book because you get to pick the suprise in the story. It could also be a bad thing becaus efor example what happened with the Sherlock story you could get hate mail and turn unpopular.
