 Across the Wide Dark Sea How are you doing? I miss you and the family. Me and Soleil are doing all right. Remember 200 pilgrims including me and Soleil set out to find the new land where we can worship god in our own way. A lot of people got sick. Storms with big waves and wet, damp, and foggy weather. A lot of people were sweepted overboard. We had to eat dry biscuits and hard cheese. I thought I had lost her forever. I was crying to my knees. When I saw the wave it was at least 60-70 feet high in the air. Just when I thought Soleil was gone, a whale blowed Soleil out of the whales blowhole. Then she said “I want to try that again”. Even though this is a hard and scary journey, I know I’m going to be okay if I’m healthy and strong. Your brother, Kyle B.
