Conditions of Use

Cauase and effect I think it could be that Uncle bud invented the "machine" because if Uncle bud hadn't made the refrigerator than xaafunn wouldn't even want anything to do with the human beings.I know this because in the book xaafunn calls the human beings worthless and she says that she is only keeping them alive because they know how to work the "machine".And in the story it explains why xaafunn wants the machine and she wants it because it is a machine that can make holes in space dimensions and if she has that machine she can travel faster,safer and easier.
